The PAM01678 remains faithful to the Luminor Marina’s signature design cues: a 44mm brushed bronze case, paired with a brushed and polished bronze bezel, featuring the iconic crown-protecting bridge. Incorporating Panerai’s modernized technical advancements, the watch is water resistant to 50 bar (~500 meters), made possible by the compact P.980 movement and refined case architecture. The streamlined lugs enhance ergonomics, while the watch’s overall weight and proportions have been optimized for comfortable daily wear.

The matte blue gradient sandwich dial, shaded from deep navy at the edges to a lighter center, is filled with beige Super-LumiNova for optimal low-light legibility. In keeping with Panerai’s 1960s-inspired models, the dial is intentionally clean, displaying only hours, minutes, and small seconds at 9 o’clock, foregoing a date window.

At its heart lies the new self-winding P.980 caliber paced at 28,800 alternations/hour and offeringa three-day power reserve typical of the brand. Featuring a traversing balance bridge, stop-second function, and rigorous six-position testing, the movement offers precision and durability. The sapphire case back provides a view of the movement’s top-notch finishing.
